The premeire here in Atlanta, GA U.S.A. went very well. Everyone really enjoyed it and cheer d at the end. Still, many people here won't see it because they are too lazy to read the subtitles. But it has been playing regularly at the local theater for two months, so I guess it is doing okay.

Hallo! Hilfe! Weil ich sehr begeistert war und bin über dem Film Winterschläfer und der Filmmusik, habe ich versucht der CD Winterschläfer zu bekommen in Holland. Hallo zusammen, ich komme gerade eben vom Set des neuen Tykwerfilms in Wuppertal und hatte die Ehre 3 Stunden dabei sein zudürfen. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis und es ist einfach unglaublich wie aufwendig so eine Filmproduktion ist! Tom hat eine irre Ausstr hlung (sollte mal VOR die Kamera gehen! :-) ), Benno Führmann ließ sich bereitwillig fotografieren, während Franka Potente so ungeschminkt irgendwie nach nichts aussieht (sorry, Tom!!). Der Film war ja wohl voll geil ! Lebe seit 3 Jahre in Minneapolis/USA und habe den Film gestern im OmU gesehen. Tat gut meine Heimatstadt auf der Leinwand zu genießen. Besonders die Bolle-Filliale in der Tauroggener/Osnabrücker, durch die einst der 72er r uschte. Außerdem: Geiler Sound ! Sowas kommt einem hier selten zu Ohren in the Midwest, die Technokultur breitet sich zu langsam aus. Weiter so ! Günter

I saw "Run Lola Run" last weekend and probably will see it with a friend this weekend again. It's one of the coolest movies I have seen in awhile. Somehow I can relate to these characters, somehow I can't. It's in the mix. Keep up the good work on the si e!

I loved this movie!!!! I just saw it and all I keep thinking is I want to see it again, I want to get a copy of the soundtrack, I want to tell everyone I know to see this film! Forget the movie which is getting all the buzz this summer, "The Blair Witch Project", it's garbage, pure garbage.... "Run, Lola, Run", or is it "Lola Rennt"? is THE MOVIE TO SEE!!!! I loved the concept, the animation, all the creative touches, the camera angles, the acting, the story, the music, hell, even the lighting. It was a very nearly perfect movie experience, all elements contributing to a satisfying conclusion. It reminded me a bit of one of my all time favorite movies, "Three O'Clock High", which involved time and clocks very heavily, and of course "Sliding Doors" and "Groundhog Day", which are all good films as well. I can't tell you enough how much I liked this film, but I will tell others to see it.... of course it's "foreign", which means it plays on one screen and a lot of people will be afraid of it, but they s ould see it anyway..... Cheers!!!

I must say that RLR is one of the best movies i've seen in a LONG while. (and granted, i work at a movie theatre). I've seen RLR 3 times, and Am listening to the Soundtrack right now. It's wierd, because i kind of thought it was a "Teen" movie to see, with all the fast paced Electronica and all) But to my surprise, a LOT of older people (i'm talkin 70+'s) came to see it and loved it. Go figure. :)

Ach! After viewing "Lola Rennt" for the first time I couldn't believe such a beautiful story could exist in someone's mind. The passion between L&M drives the none-stop action of the film. I've been to Berlin before and seeing it again with such a grassro ts level up and down the streets was absolutely incredible combined with this story that puts love to the ultimate test. "Lola Rennt" matches Luc B.'s "Leon" aka "The Professional" as a creative love story that I can actually relate to instead of unorigin l Hollywood crap. Lola and Star Wars are the best films this year. Ich liebe Lola!

What an incredible movie. I went right out and bought the soundtrack so I could re-live the movie. Plan on going back to see it many times.
RLR is great on so many levels. It's a great story. Filmed beautifully. Edited hypnotically. An impress ve mix of formats and ideas. Well acted. I could go on. Because of this impressive film, I plan on investigating the director's previous work. Anybody who could make this gem is a genious.

Just saw RLR... LOVED IT!!! Admittedly, I devoted most of my attention to the subtitles and plotline, so I need to see it again to fully take in the stunning visuals!! ... as if I wasn't going to see it again anyway!!
All the way home I couldn't get the soundtrack nor the overall vibe of the movie out of my mind (imagine feeling that groove while bombing San Francisco's streets on inline skates!! ;P )
I'm definitely getting the soundtrack, anxiously waiting for the English subtitled VHS version, and hoping someone makes a T-shirt!!!

I had been waiting for LOLA's arrival for weeks, and when I finally saw it, I was stunned, to say the least. Tykwer's film is incredibly bold, ostentatious, and revolutionary; not to mention entertaining as anything. Ms. Fischer brought up the same poin I was thinking about: the similarity in style to NATURAL BORN KILLERS. The similarities are minimal though, for all of the kinetic action and cinematography in RLR seems tohave much more of a point than it does in Oliver Stone's work. Put simply: LOLA ma es so much more sense. RLR also makes me happy, whereas NBK made me want to puke. I have yet to see any of Tykwer's other works; I hope that they are as promising as LOLA RENNTE.

I saw the movie twice yesterday, and my pulse still hasn't dropped below 120. Hypnotic and revolutionary, this is sure to be one of the most influential movies of the 90's. Congratulations to everyone involved with it.

Okay...I didn't want to see it. I didn't want to go to a movie last night..I wanted to stay home and enjoy the Seattle sun (which we see about 4 times a year)...but he pulled up the trailer from the Sony site. I grudgingly decided I'd give it a chace. I w sn't out to have a good time. I was out to mope. 2.5 seconds into the film I was hooked. I've got to see it again. I've got to find the soundtrack. I've told about 20 people already today that they HAVE to see this movie. I've never seen anything else by this director, but I'm going to. I'm only disappointed in that I wasn't at the showing at the Seattle Film Festival.

I've summed up this movie into three words: generation x cult film. Okay, that was four... Even though I'm a little upset that Tykwer didn't show up after the screening of Lola at the San Francisco Film fesival, I still dug the movie. Five times I've exp rienced this techno-bursting more-than-music video, and with each viewing I'm transplanted into the surreal world that is Lola. Keep up the good work Tykwer! Now if only I could locate Winterschalffer and Die toldy Maria....

Lola rennt ist ein Film, bei dem man denkt: wie Schade das es nie mehr einen derartigen Film geben kann. einzigartig.... würde mir von allen genauso viel mut wünschen , die alteingelatschten vorstellungen von film und deren aussage so umzukrempeln wie tom. es wird zwar noch einige zeit dauern ,bis sich breitere zuschauermassen für solche filme finden werden ber bis dahin erden sich einige zwar wenigere menschen umso mehr ihr leben bereichen und oder bewusstsein erweitern können . Gar nicht so einfach heutzutage .Manchmal öden die üblichen storys ziemlich .Von filmen büchern ,SCHULWESEN ganz zu schweige . Schön sich dann n derartig andere filme begeben zu können . Andere gedanken Keine pure geldgier im Hintergrund. Ich persönlich wär oder bin gespannt, ob Tom sich oder besser wie sich Tom nun toppen wird. überhaupt welches Thema oder welche Art von Film er anpacken möchte ist spannend. Hello dear fans! I have seen Wintersleepers twice already and I am even more enthousiastic about it. The second time I discovered many other things and the images, story and music are still very vivid for me. I would like to have a forever rememberence of this movie by means of the soundtrack (especially the music Tom Tykwer composed himself). I tried to buy or order the CD, but found out that it was sold out and that there were no possibilities to order it so ewhere (also on Internet I did not found it). So, there is my question: who can be of great help to me and can copy his or her CD for me on cassette, or even (and better!) on CD. Of course I am prepared to pay for it. The music means a lot to me and I hop that this, my last chance, will be successful. Thanks a lot, Inge

hi. ich bin ein großer skeptiker des deutschen films und war so mehr als überrascht wie verdammt gut "winterschläfer" und "lola rennt" sind. "lola" ist für mich der beste deutsche film, den ich gesehen habe, und "winterschläfer" war einfach faszinierend. ne kleine frage: wie spricht man den guten tom eigentlich aus? Tikwer/Tükwer/Teikwer ? also, weiter so Ihlusionist

Großes Lob, Jan! Ich hätte nicht gedacht, daß es einen größeren Lola/Tykwer-Fan gibt als mich. Obwohl ich in den letzten Wochen alles zum Film und zum Regisseur gesammelt habe, war ich überrascht, doch noch so viel neues z entdecken. Schade, daß ich das ganze nicht so einfach ausdrucken konnte (weiße Schrift!). Hinter Lucky Red stand ein Fragezeichen. Das ist der Verleiher in Italien, der Lola dort in den Kinos hat laufen lassen. Also, ich habe noch keinen von seinen Filme gesehen. Da ich irgendwie auf das asiatische Kino fixiert bin ;-), fehlt mir einfach die Zeit, andere Filme zu sehen. Schließlich muß ich ja auch irgendwann arbeiten :-) Gibt es die seine Filme auf Video mit englischem UT? Ein amerikanischer Bekannter fragte danach, ich soll sie ihm besorgen. Hallo, bis jetzt sind lediglich "Die tödliche Maria" als Kaufvideo (nur deutsch) und "Winterschläfer" als Leihvideo (ebenfalls nur deutsch) erschienen. Allerdings hat Tartan Video sch n z.B. W rtmanns "Der bewegte Mann" ("The Most Desired Man") als OmU-Fassung veröffentlicht. Da "Lola" und "Winterschläfer" auf internationalen Festivals als OmU liefen, nehmen die sich ja vielleicht demnächst auch der Tykwer-Fi me a .
